| This portion of the B&O line to St Louis has been out of service since around summer 2015. I took this photo at the crossing of these tracks with Illinois Highway 4, just south of Lebanon, IL on 12-21-2015. Several years ago there was a CPL signal in this vicinity but it was taken down some time ago and no trace of it remains. Ironically, the sun has also appeared to set on this section of the track but I hope someday to see service restored. |
